"16 and Pregnant" Season 5 is a reality docu-series on MTV that focuses on the controversial subject of teen pregnancy. Each episode follows a 5-7 month period in the life of a teenager as she navigates the bumpy terrain of adolescence, growing pains, rebellion, and coming of age; all while dealing with being pregnant.

Each story offers a unique look into the wide variety of challenges pregnant teens face: marriage, adoption, religion, gossip, finances, rumors among the community, graduating high school, getting (or losing) a job. Faced with incredibly adult decisions, these girls are forced to sacrifice their teenage years and their high school experiences. But there is an optimism among them; they have the dedication to make their lives work, and to do as they see fit to provide the best for their babies.

Season 5

Throughout Season 5, viewers will follow the stories of: a young girl who gives birth to twins and after constant fighting with the father of her children, she isn't sure he will be there to help raise them; a teen mother trying to mend the relationship with her own mother who struggles with addiction; the popular girl who gets pregnant and ends up homeless, and more. Each story will delve deeply into the unglamorous world of teen pregnancy as this group of young moms will have to face the harsh realities of teen parenthood.

"16 and Pregnant" is executive produced by Morgan J Freeman. Tony DiSanto is the executive producer for MTV. Dia Sokol is the co-executive producer. Liz Gateley and Lauren Dolgen are executives in charge for MTV. Jessica Zalkind is the executive for MTV. The concept is by Dolgen.

THis show makes me realize how crazy teens are.Have kids for attention, lack of love, etc. No wonder we have so many criminals who weren't raised right.PLease wait people.or until you are married or ready.
bug88 says:
Adoption!! Children are not fit to have babies. Not to mention the fact that if you are not smart enough to use birth control. Then what makes these children ready to be parents? CONDOMS!!! We must encourage that if they are going to have sex which is a huge mistake when that young because HELLO you could become PREGERS!! Not to mention if a guy really cares he will wait!!! I pray these children will wait to get married till after college. Never marry someone because they had your baby. Grow together take it SLOW.

Got spoilers? What did you think of the last show?
