Celebrating its 150th episode this season, FOX's "24" is one of the most innovative, addictive and acclaimed dramas on television. In its first six seasons, the suspenseful series was nominated for a total of 57 Emmy awards, winning for Outstanding Drama Series (2006), Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (2006) and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for star Kiefer Sutherland (2006). "24" also won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series (2004) and Kiefer Sutherland won Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama (2002). Season 6 of "24" garnered a sixth consecutive Emmy nomination for Sutherland, and "24: Redemption" earned him Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations.

Season 7 of "24" promises to combine the show's unique and trend-setting format with compelling new elements. Each episode of "24" again will cover one hour of real time, as viewers follow federal ageJack Bauer (Sutherland) through another astonishing day.

This season's clock got a jumpstart in November with "24: Redemption," the two-hour television event that bridged Seasons Six and Seven. Set and shot on location in Africa, the pressure-cooker prequel featured Bauer in the midst of a military coup in the fictional nation of Sangala, while back at home, it was Inauguration Day for President Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones). As the international crisis escalated on "24," Bauer was last seen detained and destined for Washington, DC, to face trial after heroically sacrificing his freedom for the safety of innocent children.

Season 7 of "24" opens months later in Washington, DC, with Bauer on trial and CTU disbanded. Bauer's morning takes an unexpected turn when he learns that former colleague Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) has returned and is involved in a national security breach under investigation by a team of FBI agents that includes Renee Walker (Annie Wersching), Janis Gold (Janeane Garofalo), Larry Moss (Jeffrey Nordling) and Sean Hillinger (Rhys Coiro). Meanwhile, President Taylor, White House Chief of Staff Ethan Kanin (Bob Gunton) and First Gentleman Henry Taylor (Colm Feore) battle the daunting domestic security crisis with grave global implications in a breathtaking race against time on "24."

Malevolent mastermind Jonas Hodges (Jon Voight) fans the flames of the growing international conflict on "24," and although CTU is no longer, Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and Bill Buchanan (James Morrison) are back for another momentous day of shocking events.

"24," created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, is a production of Real Time Productions and Imagine Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Jon Cassar, Manny Coto, David Fury, Kiefer Sutherland and Brian Grazer are executive producers. "24" first aired on November 6, 2001 and in past seasons has also starred Dennis Haysbert, Elisha Cuthbert, Reikio Aylesworth, Kim Raver, James Morrison, D.B. Woodside, and Roger Cross.
