Aaron Tyler from "Dad Camp" is one of the soon-to-be fathers in the VH1 reality docu-series. Shell is his 5 months pregnant girlfriend.
Aaron and Shell met 2 ½ years ago at a bar. Aaron Tyler had just gotten out of the military when he saw Shell across the bar, "snapped" his fingers to get her to come over to him, and got her number. They were only using protection half of the time but were shocked when they found out they were pregnant. Aaron felt like he had been hit by a ton of bricks when the test came back positive. He's scared mostly because he doesn't want his lifestyle to change because of this baby. Shell hates that he "socializes" more than he should. He hasn't researched or read any books because he thinks, "what is a book going to tell me?" He knows absolutely nothing about babies; he's never fed a baby, changed a diaper and thinks its pointless to try and learn these things now. Aaron feels like his youth is over, and Shell needs him to grow up. He doesn't like the idea that he is not going to be the number one priority anymore. Aaron wasn't close to his own dad, so he doesn't know how to be a father. He needs guidance and, most importantly, a wake-up call.
