Abby Elliott joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" in the 2008-09 season from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, the improv/sketch theater co-founded by "SNL" alumni Amy Poehler, where she trained and performed in both their New York and Los Angeles theaters. In addition, Elliott trained with LA's Groundlings Theater.
Elliott has appeared in many television shows such as "King of the Hill," "Chrissy: Plain and Simple," "Minoriteam" and "You've Reached the Elliotts."
Originally from Wilton, Connecticut, Abby is the daughter of Chris Elliott, a regular cast member during the 1994-95 season, making her the first second-generation cast member. She is also the granddaughter of veteran comic Bob Elliott from the "Bob and Ray Show."
