Abhin Galeya stars in National Geographic Channel's original movie "Killing Jesus" as John the Baptist, who was considered a prophet and arrested and killed by Antipas.

On the big screen, Indian actor Abhin Galeya had a lead role in "The Blue Tower." He also can be seen in Ridley Scott's epic "The Exodus" and has appeared in the crime thriller "Cleanskin," alongside Sean Bean and Charlotte Rampling, and the romantic comedy "Wimbledon," starring James McAvoy and Paul Bettany.

On UK television, Galeya is best known for playing the regular role of PC Arun Ghir in "The Bill." He also has had roles in such dramas as "White Heat," "Hustle," "Robin Hood," "Holby City," "Doctors," "Rome," "Silent Witness," "Waking the Dead," "M.I.T.: Murder Investigation Team," "Casulty," "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries."

Onstage, Galeya has performed in "Category B," "Seize the Day," "Detaining Justice" and "Best of Motives," all at the Tricycle Theatre; "The Container" at the Young Vic; "The Hot Zone" and "In a Caravan" at BAC; "East Is East" at the New Vic Theatre; and "The Ramayana" at the Royal National Theatre.

Galeya sings and is a contemporary dancer. He enjoys badminton, football, horseback riding, skateboarding, squash, swimming and tennis.
