Adam Ferrara Rescue Me Adam Ferrara Pictures Adam Ferrara, the stand-up comedian and actor that Entertainment Weekly dubbed "hilarious!", is currently a series regular on the FX hit drama "Rescue Me," playing Chief Needles Nelson. He did a national comedy tour with Denis Leary in March '09 prior to the debut of the show's fifth season in April '09. Adam Ferrara was most recently seen on the big screen opposite Kevin James in Sony Pictures hit comedy "Paul Blart: Mall Cop." Adam Ferrara's other big screen roles have included: "Definitely Maybe" with Ryan Reynolds and Isla Fisher and "National Lampoon's: Dirty Movie" with Christopher Meloni. Adam Ferrara began his career on NBC's "Caroline in the City." Since then Adam Ferrara has appeared on the critically-acclaimed ABC series "The Job" and a recurring guest on "The King of Queens," just to name a few. Apart from opening for his comedy idol, George Carlin and playing Carnegie Hall, Adam Ferrara has been twice nominated for Best Stand-Up of the Year by the American Comedy Awards. One of Adam Ferrara's most exciting moments was a benefit performance for President Bill Clinton and all the Democratic Senators. Stuck in traffic on the way to the event, Adam Ferrara had this to say: "I've waited this long for health care, now they can wait for me!"
