Adam Lasher from "American Idol 2016" is one of the top 24 contestants in Season 15 of the FOX reality singing competition. He sang a samba version of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan for his audition in New Orleans, Louisiana. All three judges voted yes to give him a golden ticket to Hollywood. He is a musician from Danville, California.

Lasher is grateful for learning about music from his famous uncle, multiple Grammy Award winner, Carlos Santana. Lasher started his group "Adam Lasher Band" while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Lasher's original music has also been featured on WE's My Fair Wedding" and CBS's "Young and the Restless." He was even impersonated by Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show during a Ryan Seacrest interview. Lasher recently released his album, "These Shoes."

When not indulging in music, Adam enjoys cooking, exercising, long boarding, surfing and chilling at home with his twenty-something year old life long friend and parrot, Topper.
