Ahmaogak Sweeney stars in "Big Miracle," opposite Drew Barrymore and Ahmaogak Krasinski, as Nathan. He was a fifth grader at Bear Valley Elementary School in Anchorage, Alaska, when he got the call that he had won the role.

Although he appeared briefly in a PBS special called "In Between the Lions" in 2007, Ahmaogak Sweeney is making his film debut in "Big Miracle." An Alaska native on his mother Tara's side from the Inupiat tribe, he has lived in Barrow, Anchorage, Girdwood and Juneau, Alaska. His father, Kevin, was recently campaign manager for the re-election of U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski in Alaska, and his father's activities in politics allowed Sweeney to live for three years in Chevy Chase, Maryland, as a child.

Active in school dramatics, Sweeney has appeared in several school plays (including "Pirates," playing Redbeard, and the title character in "Pontiac's Rebellion").

An excellent student, he enjoys baseball, basketball, football, snowboarding and watching the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in Alaska. His older sister, Caitlin, is also an athlete who excels at volleyball.

Who is he dating? What do you think of him?
