Alan Dunn hosts TNT's reality series, "Wedding Day."
Alan Dunn's journey into the event planning world began with an appreciation for international cuisine. His extensive travels in Asia and Europe gave him an understanding of exotic flavors and dining customs. When he returned from abroad, he began a New York event planning and catering company called Fraiche Events.
Event planning eventually brought Dunn to the West Coast when he became special events/food and beverage director of the Chateau Marmont Hotel, planning events for the Hollywood elite. He eventually left the chateau to start his Los Angeles-based event planning company, Trés LA.
Dunn comes to TNT's "Wedding Day" after previously appearing as a wedding planner on TLC's "For Better or For Worse," where he made extraordinary weddings happen on a shoestring budget. He has also been a regular contributor to television shows and magazines, offering innovative event tips and creative cuisine ideas.
Events that Dunn has coordinated have appeared in InStyle, Us Weekly and People magazines. His gift for designing truly memorable events has made him one of the most sought after event planners for some of Hollywood's most discriminating clients.
Dunn believes a successful party is about more than delectable food. It's about incredible people. And while the glamorous guests are provided, Dunn and his team bring service to match. His chefs have been recruited from L.A.'s best restaurants and hotels. His servers are not only stylish and gracious but specifically trained in formal dining etiquette so they won't miss a single detail. He also has a VIP team with expertise in handling the needs of exacting clients. They've ensured successful events for the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Jamie Foxx, Sean Combs, Ben Stiller, DreamWorks SKG and many others.
