Alan Ruck recently played the recurring role of Dean Bowman in ABC Family's "Greek" and starred in NBC's "Persons Unknown" as Charlie Morse, the CEO of a very successful investment firm. A fierce fighter, Morse doesn't take kindly to being intimidated or threatened.

Alan Ruck began his career in the theater, working in Chicago with such prestigious companies as the Wisdom Bridge Theatre, the Goodman Theatre and the Apollo Theater, before moving to New York where he originated the role of Don Carney in Neil Simon's "Biloxi Blues" on Broadway. After seeing the play, which also starred Matthew Broderick, director John Hughes cast Alan in his breakout film role in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

His film credits include "Ghost Town" with Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear, M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening," "Cheaper By The Dozen" with Steve Martin, Jan de Bont's "Twister," "Speed" with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock and "I Love You, Beth Cooper," directed by Chris Columbus.

Television audiences also know Ruck as Stuart Bondek, the Mayor's chief of staff on "Spin City," starring Michael J. Fox. He has had recurring roles on NBC's "Mad About You" and on "Greek." He also starred with Oliver Platt and John Turturro in the ESPN miniseries "The Bronx Is Burning."
