Alan Van Sprang was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Alan Van Sprang made his screen debut in 1994 in the Aaron Spelling-produced TV series, "Robin's Hoods." After working in television on such series as "Earth: Final Conflict" and "Paradise Falls," Alan Van Sprang had his big screen breakthrough in George A. Romero's "Land of the Dead" and has since become a favorite actor of the veteran horror director.
