Alex Naddour is a gymnast competing at the 2012 London Summer Olympics for the USA. He is the 2011 U.S. pommel horse champion and a 2011 world team bronze medalist.

A member of the U.S. team solely for his strength on pommel horse, Alex Naddour delivered. He hit two strong routines in team qualifying and finals to help the U.S. secure a bronze medal behind China and Japan.

Naddour won the pommel horse event at the 2011 VISA National Championships. The pommel horse is the "Achilles' heel" of the men's gymnastics team, but Naddour's top event. His talent on pommel secured him a spot on his first World Team in 2011.

He is a junior at the University of Oklahoma, a school with a rich tradition in men's gymnastics. Five of the seven members of the 2011 World Team are current or former OU gymnasts: Naddour, Jon Horton, Steve Legendre, Jake Dalton, and Chris Brooks.

When he's not in the gym, Naddour likes working on his car — a 2010 Camero. "I've put 22-inch rock star rims, SLP exhaust and blackout lights on it," he told USA Gymnastics.

His father, Mike, was a gymnast at Arizona State, his mother, Sandy, a gymnast Ohio State, and his older brother, Anthony, was also a gymnast at Oklahoma. Alex also has two younger siblings — a step-brother named Justin (surprise! a gymnast) and step-sister, Bailey (a cheerleader). Alex was coached by his father, Mike, before going to college. His father owns a gym, USA Youth Fitness Center, in Gilbert, Arizona and coached Olympian Jason Gatson. Alex wants to be a coach at his father's gym after his competitive career. "Once you're in the gymnastics world, you can never get out," he told USA Gymnastics. "It becomes a way of life."
