Alexandra Breckenridge stars in NBC's comedy "Save Me" as Carly Brugano. She also recently played recurring roles in FX's "American Horror Story," HBO's "True Blood" and The CW's "Life Unexpected."

Alexandra Breckenridge starred with Courteney Cox in FX's "Dirt," and was also a series regular in CBS's short-lived series "The Ex List." She has guest starred on numerous series, including "Franklin & Bash," "Sons of Tucson," "Psych," "Medium," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Charmed," "Freaks and Geeks" as well as "JAG" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." She also appeared in the television movie "Romy and Michele: In the Beginning" and has lent her voice to numerous episodes of "Family Guy" and "American Dad."

Breckenridge's feature film credits include "She's The Man," "Wishcraft" and "Big Fat Liar." She also starred in the comedy short "D.E.B.S." and in the video "Rings," which served as a bridge between the horror films "The Ring" and "The Ring 2."

Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut, and moved to California at the age of 12. A year later she discovered her love for acting while performing theater in Mill Valley, California. She moved to Los Angeles and after two months of auditions she got her first break when she landed a starring role on "R. L. Stine's Ghost of Fear Street." Her first recurring series role came on the series "Opposite Sex."  

Breckenridge lives in Hollywood, California. Her uncle, actor Michael Weatherly, star of the CBS series "NCIS," is an important role model in her life.
