Alexis Bledel stars in "The Conspirator," alongside James McAvoy, Robin Wright, Kevin Kline and Evan Rachel Wood, as Sarah Weston.

Alexis Bledel has emerged as one of Hollywood's brightest talents in both film and television. She made her television debut in "Gilmore Girls." For seven successful seasons, she starred as Rory Gilmore, the teenage daughter in this dramedy about a close-knit relationship between a single mother and a savvy daughter. The role garnered Bledel a 2002 Family Television Award and a 2005 Teen Choice Award.

Recently, Bledel starred in "The Good Guy," which premiered at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival, and as Lena in "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and its sequel "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2." The coming-of-age story also stars Amber Tamblyn, Blake Lively and America Ferrera. Bledel was also a part of the ensemble cast of the Robert Rodriguez film "Sin City," with Bruce Willis, Josh Hartnett, Rosario Dawson and Brittany Murphy.

Bledel made her feature film debut in "Tuck Everlasting," based on the acclaimed novel by Natalie Babbitt. The film also stars Ben Kingsley, William Hurt, Sissy Spacek and Jonathan Jackson. Her other films include "Post-Grad" for Fox Searchlight, "Bride and Prejudice," an Indian musical version of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice," directed by Gurinder Chadha ("Bend It Like Beckham"), and the independent films "Orphan King" and "I Am Reed Fish," opposite Jay Baruchel.

Bledel began her acting career in community theater in her hometown of Houston. Bledel also modeled in New York during her school breaks. Before winning the role of Rory Gilmore, she attended NYU Film School to study writing and directing.
