Ally Maki stars in "Wrecked" on TBS as Jess.

Ally Maki was born in Seattle, Washington and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 14 to pursue an acting-and-singing career. Having performed in countless musicals, operas and commercials, she quickly landed an agent and a recording deal with Columbia Records, where she sang and played keyboards in an all-girl pop/rock band called The Valli Girls. She soon realized that her passion lies more in acting and shifted focus, immediately booking guest starring roles on Damon Wayan's ABC series "My Wife and Kids" and NBC's "ER."

Maki is best known for her series regular role in ABC Family's comedy "10 Things I Hate About You," and a recurring role in The CW's "Privileged." Guest appearances include CBS's "2 Broke Girls" and "The Big Bang Theory," TV Land's "Hot in Cleveland," Disney Channel's "Shake It Up!," TNT's "Franklin & Bash," Comedy Central's "Workaholics," ABC Family's "Greek," and FOX's "Bones" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."

On the big screen, Maki has had supporting roles in Disney's "Step Up 3D," directed by Jon M. Chu, and the independent films "Amelia's 25th," opposite Margaret Cho, Danny Trejo and Jennifer Tilly, and "The Family Tree," opposite Britt Robertson.

In addition, Maki was recently selected as one of twelve finalists out of thousands to be accepted into the annual NBC Diversity Showcase.

Maki currently resides in Los Angeles.
