Amanda Ayala from "The Voice" is one of top 48 artists in Season 9 of the NBC reality singing competition series. From Mahopac, New York, she is on Adam Levine's team.

Amanda Ayala sang "Mississippi Queen" by the rock band Mountain for her blind audition. After Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton all turned their chairs around, Amanda chose Levine to be her coach.

Growing up listening to Pat Benatar and Joan Jett with her mom, Amanda started performing at age three and started her own rock band at age twelve. They played at restaurants and school talent shows and even booked a huge gig in New York City. Although that band broke up, Amanda quickly put together a new band, and they've been together ever since. Now that Amanda has graduated high school, she is at a crossroads. Her bandmates are headed to college, and "The Voice" is her opportunity to see if she can make it as a solo artist.
