Amanda Brown from "The Voice" is one of top 12 contestants in Season 3 of the NBC reality singing competition series. She is a 27-year-old singer from the Bronx, New York. She is on Adam Levine's team.

Amanda Brown ("The Voice") sang "Valerie" by The Zutons for her blind audition. Cee Lo Green was the only judge to turn his chair around. After she lost to Trevin Hunte, singing "Vision of Love" by Mariah Carey, in the battle rounds, all three other judges attempted to "steal" her. Brown opted to go with Levine.

Amanda grew up in the Pentecostal church with gospel music at the forefront of her life. She did not have exposure to various styles of music until her early teens. A native of the Bronx, New York, Amanda followed her passion for music and went on to perform as a backup singer for Adele and Alicia Keys.
