Amanda DeSimone from "American Idol 2010" is one of the contestants who made it to Hollywood on Season 9 of the FOX reality singing competition. She auditioned in Orlando, Florida, with her sister Bernadette DeSimone. Amanda sang "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" for her audition. Simon Cowell only voted yes to her sister, but Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi voted to send her to Hollywood.

Amanda DeSimone from "American Idol" Season 9 is a sales associate from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Her parents own a hair salon there. She is featured on the CD "Rhythm Latino," which is a compilation of various artists. She sings the song "Take Me," along with her sister and Paul Atkinson. She is 23 years old.
