Amanda Stepto

Amanda Stepto stars in "Degrassi: The Next Generation" as Christine "Spike" Nelson, a role that she also played on "Degrassi Junior High." The episode "It's Late," which starred Amanda in the groundbreaking role of a teenage mom who refuses to leave school, won many awards including an International Emmy. Amanda was also a host of the teen-oriented documentary series, "Degrassi Talks."

Amanda's film and television credits include "Strong Medicine," "The Book of Knives"
and "Flying." In August 2007, Amanda appeared alongside Stefan Brogren and Miriam McDonald on the Canadian edition of "Reader's Digest."
