Amaury Nolasco stars in "Chase" on NBC as Marco Martinez, a good intelligence guy who loves to talk —and talk.

Nolasco, a native of Puerto Rico, studied biology at the University of Puerto Rico. However, his plan to enroll in medical school was cut short when a director approached him and encouraged him to pursue acting. Nolasco was immediately cast in his first television commercial and began working consistently as an actor in Puerto Rico.

Eventually, Nolasco moved to New York and studied

at the American British Dramatic Arts School, and appeared as a guest star on several TV shows including "CSI," "ER," "George Lopez" and "CSI: New York" after graduation.

Soon after, Nolasco took on his breakout role as the series regular, Fernando Sucre, on the FOX series "Prison Break," and appeared on the big screen in his first major supporting role as Orange Julius in the film "2 Fast 2 Furious." He went on to co-star in several more films including "Mr. 3000" opposite Bernie Mac, and "Benchwarmers" with Rob Schneider and David Spade.

Most recently, Nolasco co-starred in Michael Bay's "Transformers" and David Ayer's "Street Kings," alongside Keanu Reeves, Forrest Whitaker and Hugh Laurie. He also appeared in "Max Payne," opposite Mark Wahlberg, and in "Armored" with Lawrence Fishburne, Matt Dillon and Jean Reno. Nolasco's upcoming release, "The Rum Diary" with Johnny Depp, is due out in 2011.

When not shooting in Chicago, Nolasco lives in Los Angeles and enjoys golf and tennis.
