Amber Rose is featured in MTV2's "Hip Hop Squares."

Amber Rose is living the quintessential "American Dream" story. She is a model, artist, actress, philanthropist and socialite. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 21, 1983, Amber Rose, is the daughter of a Cape Verdean mother Dorothy Rose and an Irish and Italian father Michael Levonchuck. Amber has always been creative and irreverent since early childhood with her high-fashion sense of style and clothing choices. She has always been an individual who stood out from the rest, which has helped her make her mark as a modern day fashion icon.

In 2009, Amber decided to leave her family and life in Philadelphia and make her journey to the big city streets of New York. One afternoon while walking in New York City, shortly after her arrival, a woman named Margo Wainwright from Def Jam Records discovered her. Margo, who loved Amber's exotic look and fresh sense of style, chose to use her unique beauty and authentic personality in the most elite music videos being filmed to date. These videos catapulted Amber's career and later that same year helped Amber sign her first modeling contract at the most prestigious modeling agency in the world, Ford Models.

Amber Rose has starred and has had leading roles in music videos such as Ludacris' "What Them Girls Like," Young Jeezy's "Vacation," Nicki Minaj's "Massive Attack," Fabolous' "You Be Killin Em" and Wiz Khalifa's "No Sleep." She has graced the pages of many high-end fashion magazines such as Elle, Glamour, BlackBook, Lifestyle Mirror, Star, In-Tatum, The New York Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Daily News, Grazia, Vibe, Complex, Gotham and other publications across the globe.

The camera has always had a love affair with Amber Rose that soon spread to the rest of the world. She has quickly risen to the elite circles of fashion, has become a sought after socialite, personality and actor. In 2010 Amber did not renew her contract with Ford Models after realizing her own potential to manage her own career and moved into becoming an entrepreneur. With her signature blond shaven head and her love of fashion forward eyewear, Amber has created an unremarkable presence for herself and is constantly requested on the front row by the most exclusive fashion houses during New York, London, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks.

In 2010, she appeared in the "Party Pooper" episode of Russell Simmons' reality show about his two assistants, "Running Russell Simmons." Later that year she also starred in a PSA for the NOH8 Campaign. In 2011, Amber Rose was a guest judge on Season 3 of "RuPaul's Drag Race." Amber was also a host and judge on Season 2 of "Master of the Mix." In November 2011, she became a spokesperson for Smirnoff and appeared in TV commercials, print advertising and outdoor billboards for the company's new flavors, Whipped Cream and Fluffed Marshmallow Vodkas.

Committed to using her celebrity for public service, the emerging philanthropist is actively involved in HIV/AIDS awareness, GLBT rights and actively strives to mentor young girls. A global phenomenon, Amber has an allure and mystery that transcends ethnic groups, culture and sexuality, which combined with her individual sense of self and independent aura has lead Amber to gain a tremendous following of young women 13 to 35 as well as young men, all of whom follow her on Twitter; 1.2 million followers and counting! As a result, Amber Rose was the most Googled person in the world in 2010. A budding actress, Amber recently starred in Nate Parker's "Just Add Water" and has co-starred in "Gang of Roses 2."

Amber released her debut single "Fame," featuring Wiz Khalifa, on January 10, 2012. Her debut was quickly followed by a second single, titled "Loaded," which was released on February 6, 2012. Amber's latest musical aspirations are featured on Wiz's new single, "Never Been Part II" featuring Rick Ross from his latest album "Taylor Allderdice." Because of her strong hold on the nightlife and music entertainment industry, she has developed and is booked frequently to attend and host parties and nightlife club events around the world.

Currently, Amber is challenging herself by developing a new business and plans on becoming a wife and life partner to platinum selling recording artist, Wiz Khalifa, otherwise known as Cameron Thomaz, whom she became engaged to on March 1, 2012. She resides in Los Angeles, California with her fiancé and two dogs, Frankie and Pauly.
