Jimmy McNeal made it into the top 40 contestants on Season 6 of Fox's "American Idol" before getting cut.  Jimmy McNeal auditioned in San Antonio where he sang Sam Cooke's "Cupid."  Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson unanimously voted to put Jimmy McNeal through to the next round.
