Jordin Sparks is the winner of Season 6 of Fox's "American Idol." Jordin Sparks auditioned in Seattle where she sang Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me."  Although Simon Cowell thought that it was a bit too sweet, all three judges put her through to Hollywood.

Jordin Sparks is 16 years old.  Jordin Sparks is the daughter of former NFL football player Phillippi Sparks who played for the New York Giants.  Jordin Sparks has began singing when she was only 18 months old. Jordin Sparks auditioned for both American Juniors and Star Search in 2003 and appeared on America's Most Talented Kids twice in 2004, winning her first time.  Jordin Sparks was one of only seven to be invited back for a special championship edition of the show.  Jordin Sparks has also sung the national anthem at sporting events for the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. In addition, Jordin Sparks has toured twice with singer Michael W. Smith.  In 2003, Jordin Sparks recorded an album entitled, "For Now." Jordin Sparks has also won the "Arizona Idol" contest.   Jordin Sparks' favorite band is "Something Corporate."

In addition, Jordin Sparks is a model for clothing brand, Torrid.  Jordin Sparks is a former student of Sandra Day O'Connor High School. Jordin Sparks currently lives in Glendale, Arizona.
