Rachel Jenkins

Rachel Jenkins received a golden ticket to Hollywood on Season 6 of Fox's "American Idol" but got cut in the first round.  Rachel Jenkins auditioned in Minneapolis where she sang "His Eye Is On The Sparrow."  Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul all voted to put Rachel Jenkins through to the next round.

Rachel Jenkins is 21 years old.  Rachel Jenkins works for her parents' body shop.  Rachel Jenkins is also a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Rachel Jenkins got married two months before her husband shipped out to Iraq where he has served in the 4th Infantry division in Baghdad since December, 2005. Rachel Jenkins is from Minnetonka, Minnesota.
