Rudy Cardenas is 28 years old. Rudy Cardenas is originally from Venezuela and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. Rudy Cardenas recently relocated to Seattle where he joined a band called "M-Pact," singing alto/tenor. M-Pact was named Billboard's Best Unsigned Band in 1999 and Artist of the Year at the SAMIE Awards in 2001. M-Pact also won the 2005 Vocal Group of the Year by the Los Angeles Music Awards. The "San Francisco Chronicle" has called M-Pact "one of the best pop-jazz vocal ensembles in the world." M-Pact has opened for Kenny G, Sheryl Crow, Kenny Loggins, Natalie Cole, Bobby McFerrin, Ray Charles, and the Woody Herman Orchestra.
