"America's Got Talent 2011," NBC's top rated summer series from "American Idol" producers FremantleMedia North America and Simon Cowell's SYCO Television, returns this summer with the hottest performers from across the country ready to compete in the blockbuster reality show's fifth season. Howie Mandel ("Deal or No Deal"), one of America's favorite entertainers, joins returning celebrity judges Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan this season, while actor/producer/comedian Nick Cannon returns as host.

With the talent search open to acts of all ages, "America's Got Talent" has brought the variety format back to the forefront of American culture by showcasing performers from across the country. The series is a true celebration of the American spirit, featuring a colorful array of hopeful stars, including singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists, all vying for their chance to strut and perform on stage hoping to win America's hearts—and the $1 million prize.

Singer and songwriter Michael Grimm was the Season 5 winner.

Singing chicken farmer Kevin Skinner was crowned the winner of season 4 and the victory moved the humble country singer to tears in front of the live nationwide audience. Skinner, who also took home the show's $1 million prize, headlined "America's Got Talent Live" hosted by Jerry Springer at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas in October 2009.

Season 3 winner Neal E. Boyd, an insurance salesman with dreams of becoming a professional opera singer, had his life changed forever in August 2008 when he was crowned the champion. Not only did he win the $1 million grand prize, but he also received the opportunity to perform at the MGM Grand on the Las Vegas strip.

Season 2 winner Terry Fator, a ventriloquist from Dallas, Texas, achieved his lifelong dream when he signed a five-year, $100 million deal to headline at the Mirage in Las Vegas. He currently performs five nights a week in The Terry Fator Theatre.

"America's Got Talent 2011" is produced by FremantleMedia North America and Simon Cowell's SYCO Television. Simon Cowell, Cecile Frot-Coutaz ("American Idol"), Jason Raff, Ken Warwick ("American Idol") and Georgie Hurford-Jones are executive producers.

Where can I buy the song you don't know me by Michael Graham?

Sending the old redheaded woman htru after she banged and howled for 10 minutes was an insult to the audience and the other serious contestants, shame on you for wasting all our time
fletcher says:
The red-haired old lady is awful!!! How did she make it thru? She must be a joke--otherwise it is an insult to the audience and other participants.
lyn says:
For the most part, the judges are pretty good at picking, but some of the people they pick are just AWFUL! Do they have to pick so many bad acts so they can eliminate them later? For instance, the old red-haired lady that was just awful, went through again! Sometimes the judges talk about the people in the acts as having a great personality, and so they want to see them again. For instance, the hand whistler, which beat out some of the good acts. Some of the contestants that had to go home were much better than these acts. I'm not trying to complain, just trying to understand how it's done. Thanks. Lyndy

What are the judgings thinking? Rather than making the finals exciting to watch with quality acts, they send through some of the most horrendous acts and Piers has the audacity to comment that this collection of people are the strongest they have ever had. Other than blinders and ear plugs what other qualities does one need to possess to send a red headed joke, a psuedo impersonator/actor, a hand licking whistler and several others for the viewer to waste time watching. Shame on the judges.

Got America's Got Talent spoilers? What did you think of the last show?
