"America's Smartest" (TV show) is a reality competition series on Discovery Channel that searches for the next great visionary who has an idea that will change the world.

Created as a platform for undiscovered visionaries, the show is looking for out-of-the-box thinkers who are creative problem solvers. In each episode, contestants will creatively attack challenges dealing with social, recreational and educational issues. They will create something that will make the life of a person with a disability better, show us the classroom of the future, create a new form of energy, demonstrate what home entertainment will look like in the next decade, etc.

The judging is based on three criteria: imagination, ingenuity and impact on the world. The winners of the first nine shows compete against each other on the tenth show for the title of "America's Smartest."

"America's Smartest" is produced by Mandalay Media Arts and creators and executive producers Michael Sardo and David Zelon. Rolfe Auerbach, co-executive producer and principal of Brand in Entertainment, is spearheading sponsor integrations.
