Amy Fisher from "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" is one of the celebrity patients featured in Season 5 of the VH1 reality docu-series.

Amy Fisher became known as "The Long Island Lolita" in 1992 when, at the young age of seventeen, she shot and severely wounded Mary Jo Buttafucco, the wife of her lover Joey Buttafucco. She pleaded to first-degree aggravated assault and served seven years in prison.

Upon her release from prison, Fisher became a journalist and writer, publishing a column in The Long Island Press, and authoring two books: "If I Knew Then" and "Amy Fisher: My Story." After spending some time as a journalist, however, Fisher decided to embark on a new career as a stripper and adult film actress.

As a porn star, Fisher has found a great deal of success. She also continues to receive attention for her infamous past; a number of movies have been made about her (she has been played by Alyssa MIlano, Drew Barrymore and Noelle Parker), and she has been the subject of several books.
