Ana Gasteyer stars in "Suburgatory" on ABC as Sheila Shay.

Ana Gasteyer was recently seen in a recurring role as a judge in CBS's "The Good Wife" and had made guest appearances in "Running Wilde," "Chuck," "The Electric Company," "Valentine," "I'm with Her" and "Frasier." She also starred in the films "Dare," "The Women," "Finn on the Fly," "Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical," "Mean Girls," alongside Lindsey Lohan, Garry Marshall's "Raising Helen," "What Women Want," with Mel Gibson, "Woman on Top," "Dick" and "What's the Worst That Could Happen?," opposite John Leguizamo and Martin Lawrence.

Gasteyer is best known for her incomparable work on "Saturday Night Live." During her six-year stint, she created some of the most famous SNL characters, including middle school music teacher Bobbi Moughan-Culp, NPR radio host Margaret Jo, Lilith Fair poetess Cinder Calhoun, as well as spot-on impressions of Martha Stewart, Celine Dion and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

On stage, Gasteyer most recently garnered rave reviews playing the legendary role of Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl" at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Other stage credits include Eve Ensler's acclaimed off-Broadway hit "The Vagina Monologues." Following her triumphant Broadway debut as Columbia in "The Rocky Horror Show," Gasteyer has continued her work on the New York stage in Manhattan Theatre Club's hit production of "Kimberly Akimbo" by celebrated playwright David Lindsay-Abaire. She also starred off-Broadway with Anna Paquin in "Roulette," written by Paul Weitz (co-writer/co-director of "About a Boy"), as well as "Cinderella." Gasteyer's more recent Broadway credits include "The Royal Family," "The Threepenny Opera," "Hair" and "Wicked."

In the fall of 2002, Gasteyer co-starred in the one-night-only, star-studded "Funny Girl" Actors Fund benefit concert, joining Whoopi Goldberg, Ricki Lake, Jane Krakowski and others as one of the many celebrities tag-teaming the role of Fanny Brice.

Prior to joining "Saturday Night Live," Gasteyer honed her comedy skills at The Groundlings, the famed Los Angeles improv-sketch comedy group.

Her one-woman musical extravaganza "Let It Rip!" recently encored at Joe's Pub in New York City.
