Angel Taylor (The Voice)

Angel Taylor from "The Voice" is one of the contestants in Season 2 of the NBC reality singing competition series. He is a 23-year-old singer from Los Angeles, California. She is on Adam Levine's team.

Angel Taylor ("The Voice") sang "Someone Like You" by Adele for her audition. Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green all turned their chairs around, but Taylor chose Levine even though she admitted to having a massive crush on Shelton.

Taylor had an abusive father, and music served as an escape for her. She found it therapeutic and gave her "hope in the madness." Her mother left her father with her, and they have never looked back.

This R&B singer played the piano as a child to poetry her sisters wrote. Now 23, Angel has always thought about becoming a school teacher but is ready for a fresh start in music. In her downtime, she enjoys relaxing with a People magazine or watching her favorite movie, "Pride and Prejudice."
