Angela Simmons stars on MTV's reality series, "Daddy's Girls" and previously starred on "Run's House."

The second child of Reverend Run's tight-knit family, Angela Simmons has long been striving to get out from her big sister Vanessa's shadow.

Although once considered a "copycat" on "Run's House," Angela Simmons has worked hard to establish her own identity as a force in the fashion industry. Angela Simmons is an associate editor of Hype Hair magazine and has a monthly insert Word Up! magazine ("Angela's Rundown"), where she has featured top name young celebrities from the music and entertainment community and won great acclaim from her bosses.

In the personal life, Angela Simmons' breakup with her boyfriend, pro skateboarder Terry Kennedy (better known as TK), definitely had her fighting the blues. But here is where family came to her rescue and with support and guidance from Vanessa, Angela Simmons has gotten over it and is ready to move on. And move on she will ... all the way from her parents' plush New Jersey home to Los Angeles.

Fans of "Run's House" know that when Vanessa's acting career started to take off, Angela Simmons was forced to take a lead role in their Pastry shoe business. Now,  Angela Simmons will join Vanessa in making Los Angeles her home and Pastry their main concern, a process that will be the subject of "Daddy's Girls." But don't expect her to slow down with her other fashion pursuits. Angela Simmons will continue using her extensive connections as part of hip-hop's first family to attract talent to her various editorial ventures. And with Vanessa, she'll also continue to mentor the Girl Scouts of the USA.
