Anna Maria Perez de Tagle stars as Ella, the devotee of Tess in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Camp Rock." Although airy and a bit snobby, Ella discovers she doesn't have to be a follower of Tess to be recognized and let her own talents shine through at the camp. Anna Maria Perez de Tagle's credits include the feature film from Fox Searchlight "Bee Season" opposite Richard Gere and Juliette Binoche. Anna Maria Perez de Tagle had a starring role in the CBS series "Cake," as well as guest roles on Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" and Nickelodeon's "Just Jordan." In addition, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle served as a host of Disney's "Sing-Along Bowl-Athon," had a voice-over role in Playhouse Disney's "Higglytown Heroes," and was a junior singer finalist on CBS's "Star Search." In addition to her on-set experience, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle has starred in a variety of Children's Musical Theater productions including lead roles in "The Wiz," "Cinderella" and "The King and I." Anna Maria Perez de Tagle has also modeled for Macy's Inc., Mervyn's, The Gap, Levi's and Old Navy clothing lines. Born December 23, 1990 in San Francisco to parents of Filipino descent, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and her family moved to southern California when she was 14 years old. In her free time, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle plays the piano and likes to stay active by dancing, swimming and snow skiing. Anna Maria Perez de Tagle currently resides in San Gabriel, California, with her parents and two brothers, Juan Miguel and Jose.
