Annalise Basso stars in "The Red Road" on the Sundance Channel.

On the big screen, Annalise Basso was recently seen in "Standing Up," alongside Chandler Canterbury and Radha Mitchell. Directed by DJ Caruso, the independent film debuted at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and is based upon based on the popular young adult novel "The Goats" by Brock Cole. Basso was also featured in the family comedy "Bedtime Stories," starring Adam Sandler, Keri Russell and Guy Pearce, and the thriller "Ghost Image," opposite Elisabeth Röhm and Stacey Dash.

On television, Basso starred alongside Sarah Jones and Haylie Duff in Hallmark Channel's original movie "Love Takes Wing," directed by Lou Diamond Phillips. Basso has also guest starred in episodes of "Nikita," "New Girl," "Parks and Recreation," "Bones," "Childrens Hospital," "Three Rivers," "True Blood," "Lie to Me" and "Desperate Housewives." When she was just ten years old, she was one the students featured in the game show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"

Basso has appeared in national commercials for Honda, KFC, Walmart and Chevrolet, among others. She has also done print and runway modeling.

Basso is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and knows how to play violin. She enjoys swimming, ice skating, snow skiing and horseback riding. She dances Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
