   Award-winning actress Anne Archer plays Laurel Limoges, founder of an international cosmetics empire, in The CW's drama "Privileged." Anne Archer was nominated for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and the British (BAFTA) Academy Award for her role opposite Michael Douglas in Adrian Lyne's thriller "Fatal Attraction." Anne Archer is also well-known for her poignant Golden Globe-winning performance in the ensemble cast of Robert Altman's "Short Cuts," and for playing Harrison Ford's beleaguered wife in "Patriot Games" and "Clear and Present Danger." Throughout her motion picture career, Anne Archer has starred opposite some of Hollywood's most dynamic and respected leading men, including Michael Douglas, Gene Hackman in "Narrow Margin," Donald Sutherland in "Eminent Domain," and Sylvester Stallone in "Paradise Alley." Anne Archer starred opposite Tommy Lee Jones in "Man of the House." Anne Archer is soon to be seen in the feature film "Felon," staring Val Kilmer, Stephen Dorff and Sam Shepherd, which opens in late July, 2008 and has recently completed production on the romantic comedy "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," for New Line Cinema, directed by Mark Waters, starring Mathew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner and Michael Douglas. On television, Anne Archer appeared in one season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," starring opposite Danny DeVito. Anne Archer also appeared in "The L Word" and has a recurring role in "Ghost Whisperer," as the mother of Jennifer Love Hewitt. Anne Archer is the fourth generation in her family to be born and raised in Los Angeles. When not acting, Anne Archer devotes her time to the organization she founded in 2006, Artists for Human Rights (AFHR), which has the purpose of bringing artists together with the common cause of raising awareness of human rights around the world.
