Annie Thurman stars in "Proof" on TNT as Sophie.

Annie Thurman is a Hollywood newcomer who previously played the tribute girl from District 9 in the movie blockbuster "The Hunger Games." She can also be seen in the sci-fi horror thriller "Dark Skies," starring Keri Russell, the independent film "Falls the Shadow," and the Western, "Cowgirls," starring Kristy Swanson and Sean Patrick Flanery.

On television, Thurman starred in the Hallmark original movie "Santa Switch," opposite Anne Dudek. In addition, Thurman has been featured in commercials for Oscar Mayer, CBL Properties Associates, and Little Debbie.

Thurman enjoys singing, playing the ukulele, rollerblading, bowling, cycling, swimming, tumbling, ice skating, playing volleyball, snowboarding and riding horses.
