Anthony Parkinson from "Police POV" stars in the truTV reality series.

Officer Anthony Parkinson ("Police POV") was born and raised in Cleveland and has a family legacy of police officers totaling 135 years of service. Parkinson moved to Fort Smith with his wife, an Arkansas native. A member of the Fort Smith Police Department for four years, he dreamed of becoming an officer since he was a child. "Having role models in my life like my father, who was an officer, was the inspiration for me to carry the police torch," he said. "The AXON is a tremendously helpful tool for law enforcement. Since we patrol in single-man units, it's a relief having my interactions recorded. If the unthinkable did happen, it would be documented, and the suspect could be brought to justice."
