Lifetime's "Army Wives" Season 4 is an ensemble drama series about the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women—and one man—living with their spouses and families on an active army post who must deal with the pressures and traditions of the military on those who are left behind while their partners serve their country. This unlikely tribe on "Army Wives" forms a bond based on one common theme: they all love a soldier who could die at any moment.

"Army Wives" Season 4 stars Kim Delaney ("NYPD Blue"), Sally Pressman ("Shark"), Brigid Brannagh ("Over There"), Brian McNamara ("The O.C."), Sterling K. Brown ("Starved"), Wendy Davis ("Commander in Chief"), Drew Fuller ("Charmed") and Catherine Bell ("JAG").

On "Army Wives," Claudia Joy Holden (Kim Delaney), the strong and respected wife of Colonel Michael Holden (Brian McNamara), is admired by all the other women on the post. Married for 17 years, Claudia and Michael are a very well respected couple in the community. When Michael, due for a promotion, is passed over in favor of Colonel Baker, Claudia suspects that his wife, Lenore, is behind a rumor that cost him the job. Claudia confronts Lenore and vows to make it right for her husband, but by doing so puts herself and her own secrets at risk of exposure.

On "Army Wives," Denise Sherwood (Catherine Bell) is a devoted homemaker to her Major husband, Frank (Terry Serpico) and her teenage son, Jeremy (Richard Bryant). With Frank preparing to deploy, Denise is concerned about being home alone with her son who has been lashing out and physically abusing her when he gets frustrated with the pressures of being the son of a Major. With obvious cuts and bruises, Denise is finally forced to reveal her son's problem.

On "Army Wives," Pamela Moran (Brigid Brannagh), a former cop, is now earning money as a surrogate to help get her family out of debt. Already the subject of gossip, she feels like an outsider while her husband Chase (Jeremy Davidson), is unsympathetic to the moral dilemma she feels over being a surrogate. With the weight of her family on her shoulders, she must keep her secret or face blackballing by the other women in their tight knit community on the post.

On "Army Wives," Roxy LeBlanc (Sally Pressman) is a feisty woman from the wrong side of the tracks who marries a soldier, Trevor (Drew Fuller), after only knowing him for a few days. Now living with her two children and new husband on the post, Roxy sees thisas a chance for happiness, but she quickly encounters the politics of this ultra competitive environment. Roxy finds a job bartending at a local bar off-post not only to make extra money, but also to remind herself of who she is and where she came from.

The "Army Wives" include one husband, Roland Burton (Sterling K. Brown), a psychiatrist whose wife Joan (Wendy Davis) has just returned from the war in Afghanistan. Joan, a Lieutenant Colonel, is suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome and Roland is struggling to relate to her. When her behavior spirals out of control, both Roland and Joan must comes to terms with the long road ahead of them.

When Claudia Joy hosts an afternoon tea party on "Army Wives" and invites all the wives on the post, these five find that they have more in common than they may have thought. Pamela goes into labor and Claudia Joy, Denise, Roxy and Roland band together to make sure she has a safe delivery off-post so no one will discover her secret. Though they all come from different places, they are bonded by circumstances that create unbreakable friendships.

Mark Gordon ("Grey's Anatomy," "Criminal Minds") and Deborah Spera ("Criminal Minds") serve as executive producers on "Army Wives" Season 4 along with Dee Johnson ("ER"). Katherine Fugate ("The Prince & Me") created the series and also serves as executive producer and writer. "Army Wives" is based on the book "Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Army Wives" by Tanya Biank, who serves as a consultant. "Army Wives" is produced by ABC Studios.

I love Army Wives and it takes me back to SC. But in the real army enlisted soliders aren't allowed to hang out with the officres side. I was on both sides and stationed in SC. Also in SC they make you go through a one yr seperation before they think about going to court for the divorce. Also during the year of seperation the wife gets to keep her ID card just like they are living together. They don't get to live on post during the seperation time. I got my divorce in SC. I watch it because it takes me back in time and I really like the show but I also check out what is real and what isn't. I'm a retired widow and miss my friends in SC. Columbia FT Jackson area.

Got Army Wives spoilers? What did you think of the last show?
