Previously, Ashley Benson starred for three years as teen-age Abigail Deveraux, daughter of super couple Jack and Jennifer, (Matthew Ashford and Melissa Reeves) on NBC's daytime drama, "Days of our Lives." Ashley Benson is one of today's young, hot triple threats. Born and raised in California, Ashley Benson developed a passion for theater at the age of three, began acting when she was nine, working mostly in commercials, then quickly made the transition into film and television. Ashley Benson has appeared on such TV shows as "The District," "The West Wing," "Scrubs" and "The OC." Ashley Benson made her feature film debut in "13 Going on 30," starring Jennifer Garner. Ashley Benson played the lead in "Bring It On: In It to Win It," as Carson, the fresh faced captain of the West High cheerleading team. Ashley Benson was seen in the the independent film "Bart Got a Room," opposite William H. Macy, and starred in Lifetime's TV movie "Fab Five." Ashley Benson strives to be a positive role model in her community, and highly values the importance of charity work. Ashley Benson participates in public speaking, advocating education, strong life goals and the achievement of dreams through perseverance. Ashley Benson feels that reaching out to others, especially youth close to her age, provides an invaluable sense of fulfillment. Ashley Benson is also an avid promoter of animal rights. Ashley Benson lives in the Los Angeles area with Olive, her adorable Maltese Shih Tzu. In her spare time, Ashley Benson enjoys Pilates, studying acting, tap, jazz, ballet and hip-hop, swimming, playing Wii and going to the movies.
