Ashley De La Rosa from "The Voice" is one of the contestants in Season 2 of the NBC reality singing competition series. She is on Christina Aguilera's team. De La Rosa sang "Shark in the Water" by V.V. Brown for her blind audition.

At just 17 years of age, Ashley De La Rosa ("The Voice") has already built an impressive resume. Aside from being a trilingual straight-A student currently applying to Boston University, Ashley has devoted herself to working for charity. Her career goals are to major in international relations and to work for United Nations. She wants to be on "The Voice" so that she can give back to people through her music.

De La Rosa got her first taste of performing in New York doing commercials, television and print modeling jobs at the early age of six. She later moved to Florida where she discovered musical theater and performed in several plays, including "A Christmas Carol," "Cinderella" and "Once on This Island." She went to Los Angeles at age 13 to perform at the House of Blues and visited the city again when she turned 14 to perform at a R.A.W. Talent competition.
