Bailey Buntain stars in "Faking It" on MTV as Lauren. Buntain recently made her television debut in ABC Family's "Bunheads" as shapely Ginny Thompson, who is not yet comfortable in her own skin.

Bailey Buntain started dancing as a toddler but really started to take training seriously around age seven. Her core training is in Jazz, Tap and Ballet on Pointe, but she has experience in various styles, from Ballroom to Baton Twirling. She got her first professional acting job at the age of 10 in the California Music Circus. She can even handle the trapeze! She graduated from American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in 2010. In addition to dance, she is a classically trained singer and has studied acting.

On stage, Buntain performed in the North Carolina Theatre and Arts Center of Coastal Carolina production of the musical "Hello, Dolly!" She was also seen in "The Music Man" and as a featured dancer in "Broadway on Broadway." She loves dancing to the song "Chain of Fools" by Aretha Franklin, because "It's really fun and automatically gives you an energy boost."

She says, "As a dancer your body is your tool and your instrument. Just like sports. You have to have flexibility, agility, balance, rhythm, creativity and strength. When you are a dancer, you also have to know your body in a completely different way. You have to be able to listen to it, teach it and take care of it."

Buntain is obsessed with Lucille Ball owns every season of "I Love Lucy."

In memory of her father, she is committed to the fight against cancer and is both a supporter and donor of the American Cancer Society.
