Barry Robison from "Hot Set" is one of the judges on the Syfy reality production design competition series.

Barry Robison is an award-winning production designer. Best known for his work on the recent films "X- Men Origins," "Wedding Crashers" and "The Chronicles of Narnia," Robison was nominated for an Excellence in Production Design Award and earlier in his career he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for the soap opera "One Life to Live."

Robison has worked alongside some of the biggest directors in Hollywood including Michael Apted ("Chronicles of Narnia"), Joe Johnston ("October Sky," "Hidalgo," "NFSW"), Dean Parisot ("Home Fries," "Fun with Dick and Jane"), Bill Condon ("Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh"); David Dobkin ("Wedding Crashers," "The Change Up") and Gavin Hood ("Rendition," "X-Men Origins").

Robison began his career in Minneapolis working at the Guthrie Theatre and the Children's Theatre of Minneapolis. However, it was in New York City where his career began to build momentum working on the soap operas "Another World," "All My Children" and "One Life to Live."

This United States-born native recently obtained dual citizenship in Australia as a result of working on three continuous projects there.
