"Bedlam" (TV show) is a supernatural drama that airs on BBC America in the U.S.

In this modern take on a haunted house story, Kate (Charlotte Salt, "The Tudors") lives in Bedlam Heights with roommates Ryan (Will Young, "Skins") and Molly (Ashley Madekwe, "Secret Diary of a Call Girl"). There's tension around the apartment — both the sexual and the out-of-work-roommate kinds. Kate and her father, Warren (Hugo Speer, "Skins"), own the building, which has been in the family for generations. Overly self-confident but ultimately self-destructive, Kate is tasked to fill the remaining vacant apartments. She's surprised by the unexpected arrival of Jed (Theo James), her adopted cousin, who storms into her apartment only to find her in a compromising position. With a checkered past and mental health issues, he's a troubled man who sees ghosts and visions of the past. Recent messages to "Save Kate," propel him back into Kate's life. Gradually Jed uncovers the terrifying secrets held in Bedlam Heights, while trying to retain his sanity. He's convinced Kate is in danger from the spooks of Bedlam, but unbeknown to him, the truth will be far more terrifying…

Together, Jed, Kate and their roommates Ryan and Molly collide head-on with the lunacy of Bedlam Heights, while simultaneously wrestling with another kind of madness altogether — a lively, messy, edgy world of relationships, commitments and friendship.

Season 2

In "Bedlam" Season 2, the horror and drama returns as the restless spirits of Bedlam Heights wreak their terrible revenge on unsuspecting new inhabitants. A few months ago Ellie started having visions of the dead re-enacting their violent, shocking deaths on the living. Through the hospital where she works, Ellie also knows that a former patient, Jed, was treated for exactly the same thing and if only she could track him down, she's sure he must know a way to make it stop. As the residents continue to be terrorized by the asylum's dark past, they soon realize whatever is waiting for them in the depths of Bedlam Heights is worse than anything they could have ever imagined.

"Bedlam" (BBC America) is produced by Red Production Company. The series was created by David Allison ("Boy Meets Girl," "Hollyoaks"), Neil Jones ("Waterloo Road," "Hollyoaks") and Chris Parker ("EastEnders," "Hollyoaks"). The executive producer is Nicola Shindler ("Single Father," "Unforgiven")
