Belle Shouse stars in "Secrets and Lies" on ABC as Abby Crawford.

Belle Shouse expressed an early interest in modeling and acting when she was in elementary school. After much requesting, her parents let her meet with a Houston photographer who immediately phoned a local agency that signed her. She did some print work and a few commercials, but she had her sights set higher. A chance meeting with a casting director, who noticed her natural talent, led Belle to a bigger market. She then spent the next two years studying with a renowned Dallas acting coach. In the summer of 2012, her family surprised her with a trip to Los Angeles. During that time, she signed with an agency and her career took off.

Shouse's first feature film was "Summer's Shadow," where she was cast in the title role as Summer. After that, she filmed "A Million Ways to Die in the West," directed by Seth MacFarlane, and the thriller "Havenhurst," portraying Sarah.

When Shouse is not working, she loves spending time with her family, playing tennis, watching movies, playing soccer with her pups, cooking and trying new things.
