Ben Cartwright stars in History Channel's miniseries "Hatfields & McCoys" as Parris McCoy, the brother of Squirrel Huntin' Sam, who is one of the prejudiced jurors at the trial of Floyd Hatfield for pig theft.

Ben Cartwright is a familiar face on British television. He played the role of Tony in the popular series "East Enders," and had roles in several long-running series including "The Bill," "Doctors" and "Casualty." He also appeared in recent seasons of "Tracy Beaker Returns."

Film work includes the 2011 comedy "Run for Your Wife" and two 2009 films in which he played a policeman: "Sherlock Holmes" and "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus." He also starred as Nick in "Children of the Lake."
