Who is your primary cooking inspiration?
My grandmother is hands down my biggest food inspiration. She has been gone
now for over 10 years, but that part of her will always be in our hearts. I think about her all the time when I'm cooking, especially when I'm cooking with my sisters.
What are your favorite food blogs (besides your own)?
I don't have one
What is your favorite/least favorite dish to eat?
I'm not a picky eater, but I don't like anything with oysters or clams. My family goes clamming all the time, so clams are something that I regularly try just to see if for some reason I have started liking them. My favorite food to eat is anything bacon. If there is bacon in the dish, I will love it, unless it has clams.
What is your favorite/least favorite dish to cook?
My favorite dish to cook is anything pasta! I love making homemade pasta from scratch. Anything clam would be my least favorite dish to make only because when I make it, I don't get to enjoy any of it.
What is your favorite go-to dish to bring to a potluck?
I love bringing manicotti or enchiladas to potlucks because they are tasty dishes.
What is your favorite/least favorite type of cuisine and why?
My favorite cuisine to cook is actually anything Asian because it's the most difficult for me to make taste authentic so I love challenging myself. I don't really have a least favorite cuisine to cook.
What travel destinations have you either been to or want to travel to for food inspiration?
When I completed my Masters degree, I wanted to travel and experience different cultures and food. Of the places I have seen, Italy and Greece were the most amazing food experiences. This year I will be traveling to England, Ireland and Scotland. I'm excited to experience the food in these countries because it is food that I am not familiar with.

Why did you want to be a contestant?
Cooking is my form of art. I love it, I dream about it, and I could cook all day, every day. On top of that, I'm the ultimate competitor.
What is your favorite comfort food and why?
I have to go with a nice homemade pizza from the grill. My favorite pizza is BBQ chicken pizza. Comfort food to me is sitting around at home with family and friends. We spend a lot of time doing that around yummy homemade pizza.
