"Better Things" (TV show) is a comedy series on FX co-created by and starring Pamela Adlon.

What's it like to be a working woman raising three daughters on her own? Don't ask. Ok. Since you asked. Things get gnarly. And bloody. And funny. Well to you, anyway. In this series, Adlon plays Sam, a working actor with no filter trying to earn a living, navigate her daughters' lives, have fun with a friend or two, and also — just maybe — squeeze in some private time once in a while. Her life is funny to watch, but you wouldn't want to live it (except sometimes).

The cast also includes Mikey Madison, Riley Watson and Olivia Edward as the three daughters.

"Better Things" is produced by Louis C.K.'s production company Pig Newton for FX Productions. Adlon will serve as an executive producer alongside co-creator Louis C.K., Blair Breard, Dave Becky and 3 Arts Entertainment. Adlon and C.K. wrote the pilot, which was directed by C.K.
