Beverly Johnson is an accomplished actress, author, businesswoman, dedicated volunteer and mother. Born in Buffalo, New York, Beverly Johnson became the first black supermodel. Beverly Johnson has graced over 500 magazine covers and was the first African-American woman to be on the cover of Vogue. Beverly Johnson was also named as one of the 20th Century's 100 Most Influential People in the Fashion Industry by the New York Times and was featured on the cover of Glamour's 50th Anniversary issue. An avid golfer, Beverly Johnson has also penned several books and has appeared on numerous hit TV shows including "Girlfriends," "Arli$$" and "Law & Order."
