Billy Pit Bulls and Parolees

Billy from "Pit Bulls & Parolees" stars in the Animal Planet reality docu-series.

Another of Tia Torres's newer parolees, Billy ("Pit Bulls & Parolees") has quickly made Villalobos his home. Always seeking the approval of others, Billy started selling drugs in high school not only as a way to make money, but also to gain popularity. Unfortunately, his ambition got the better of him and he wound up selling to an undercover police officer, which ultimately sent him to prison.

His first contact with Villalobos was through Tia's husband A.J. Initially, Billy was just a friend to Tia and the family, but once he started working at Villalobos he became accepted as another member of the family. The class clown of the parolees, Billy often finds the funny in some otherwise grim situations. And although he's a goofball, Billy has his struggles too.

After spending time at Villalobos and feeling welcome among the other parolees, Billy doesn't want to go back to prison or that lifestyle. He wants a new life, one that he has made for himself at Villalobos. "I love being in the middle of nowhere. I don't really like the city. I love the dogs. I feel like I've accomplished something at the end of the day. I'm in a good place."

Billy currently lives on the ranch and tries to do after-hours work to earn his keep. Little construction projects and vet runs keep him busy. His frequent visits to the vet have even sparked a deeper interest in the field, and Billy hopes to one day become a veterinary technician. He'd want to use those skills at the ranch, though, so he can stay with his family at Villalobos.
