Blaine Mitchell from "The Voice" is one of top 48 artists in Season 9 of the NBC reality singing competition series. From Fort Worth, Texas, he is on Blake Shelton's team.

Blaine Mitchell sang "Drops of Jupiter" by the rock band Train for his blind audition. After Shelton and Gwen Stefani both turned their chairs around, Blaine chose Shelton to be his coach.

Growing up, Blaine was passionate about sports, until a knee injury ended his baseball dreams. Since then, he's been entirely focused on music and has an alternative rock band called Treeside with his brother. They have spent the past six years performing in Texas. To make ends meet, Blaine also took a job at Cowboys Dancehall singing country music, but he has recently left to focus on his real passion, alternative rock.
