Blake Davis stars in "The Slap" on DirecTV's Audience Network as Richie.

Blake Davis has emerged as one of the most exciting young actors in Australia today. He has studied drama over several years at the Screen Actors' Studio, The Rehearsal Room, Victoria Youth Theatre and The National Theatre. In 2007 he undertook the Open Program for teens at NIDA and in recent times he has trained at The Australian Film & Television Academy.

Blake gained his first television guest role in "Blue Heelers" in 2005 and soon followed this with guest roles in "Bed of Roses" (ABC1) and "Rush." He has appeared in a number of short films including "Wiccan" and "The Gidji." In 2008 Blake scored the breakthrough role of Max in the highly-acclaimed TV series "Tangle," with Ben Mendelsohn, Catherine McClements and Kat Stewart. He followed this up with a main role in the ABC/BBC co-production "Dead Gorgeous," and in early 2010 reprised the role of Max for series two of "Tangle."

In late 2010 Blake made his professional stage debut opposite Alison Whyte and Wendy Hughes in the MTC's production of "All About My Mother," under the direction of Simon Phillips. He received outstanding reviews for his performance.
